YES MANCHESTER CIO ACCREDITED TO THE MATRIX STANDARD
Yes Manchester CIO, north Manchester’s only independent provider of person-centred support toward employment, has been accredited to the matrix Standard, demonstrating the high quality of the services they provide to unemployed and underemployed people in this area of the city.
The organisation is excited to have achieved this milestone less than a year after becoming a charity, and only 18 months after becoming independent.
The matrix Standard is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance (IAG), either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering.
Roger Chapman, Head of the matrix Service for The Growth Company said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Yes Manchester, and I would like to congratulate the team on their success. We believe that at the heart of high-quality advice and support services are strong leadership, excellent service, and a focus on continuous improvement, all underpinned by effective use of the resources available. The matrix Standard is designed to benchmark organisations against best practice in these areas. With their accreditation success Yes Manchester is working to provide the best possible support to their clients.”
Commenting on the award, Sheila Sturgeon, Chief Executive said: “We are so excited to have achieved the standard for matrix accreditation, and especially to have had our focus upon our communities and individuals recognised as a significant strength. It is a testament to the whole team to have achieved this so early in our independence journey”
