A huge congratulations to Yes Manchester’s Operations Assistant, Kai, for successfully completing his ‘Level 3 – Data Technician’ apprenticeship!

Not only was the programme a fantastic learning experience for Kai, but it has also helped Yes to improve their data analysis and reporting capabilities, with Kai bringing his learning into the workplace to excellent effect; highlighting the power of apprenticeships in improving organisational practices within small organisations.

Kai said:

“The first few weeks of the course were intense, but by immersing myself in the learning, workshops, and team projects, i was able to learn the fundamentals of data management, from data collection and analysis, to data security and visualisation, and I’m now looking forward to applying new concepts to my work at yes, to further support the growth of the organisation.

The whole team have been really supportive throughout my apprenticeship, so a big thanks to everyone at Yes, and a special shout to out to my line manager Tim, for his support and mentorship throughout the course”

Following the completion of the course, Kai is already eyeing up new opportunities to further develop his skills, exploring the possibility of undertaking a Level 3 course in ‘Information, Advice and Guidance’, to increase his knowledge in supporting Yes’ customers on their journeys into employment.
