New Chief Executive for North Manchester Employability Charity

Yes Manchester is delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Green to the role of Chief Executive, succeeding Sheila Sturgeon, who leaves after 2 and ½ years during which the charity became independent, won lottery funding, and gained Matrix accreditation.

Adam has been delivering and leading employability projects and programmes for many years. He is a Registered Career Development professional (RCDP), holds a Level 6 in Career Guidance Theory (CIAG) and last year became a Fellow of the Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP). This experience will be of significant benefit to Yes Manchester CIO in the next stage of its development.

Adam said “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead Yes Manchester CIO in what is a very exciting time”.

“Manchester is my home city and I’m incredibly passionate about the future of the local area. The person-centred approach that Yes Manchester advocates, is vital in supporting the most disadvantaged communities across Manchester, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know the team, trustees, and stakeholders”, he added.

Anne Taylor, Chair of trustees, said. “We are delighted that Adam will be joining us to take Yes forward on the journey to sustainability, enabling us to provide the best possible information, advice and guidance for people in north Manchester”.
