Marta secures her first UK job!

Marta contacted the Yes team in September to see if we could help her to find a job. Originally from Poland, Marta had never had to apply for work in the UK before, Yes team member and Employment Support Manager Sammy was more than happy to help.  Marta said: “I welcomed Sammy’s support, she gave me great advice and really helped to boost my confidence”. Sammy helped Marta to create a new CV as well as supporting her to search and apply for jobs online.

After only a couple of weeks,  Marta was invited to two job interviews and came back to the Yes centre for some interview tips and guidance.  Marta was a little anxious since they were her first interviews in the UK, however after a short session with Employment Support Manager Ike, Marta was feeling much better, and her new interview skills helped her to feel much more confident!

With all the support from Yes and Marta’s determination, she smashed both interviews, and was offered both jobs! Successfully securing a job as a Finance Assistant.
